2022 July and August

Dear Friends and Supporters,

The last two months have been full and exciting with ministry all over. We have been in WV, VA, NJ, TN and NC. In July, we had the opportunity to be involved in a Family VBS as well as present at the same church. During the preaching time, I preached for the children while a different evangelist preached for the teens and adults. There was great rejoicing as three souls were saved that week! Other exciting news from these past couple of months, several more churches took us on for support, which brings us to almost a 70% support level. September and October are super busy months. We will be in NC, NH, PA, GA, and MA presenting our mission work. We are preparing to move to western Pennsylvania into a missions house of a supporting church as we finish up deputation. We praise the Lord as He has provided this place for us to stay as we reach more of the Midwest churches in our effort to finish raising support. We hope to get to the 100% mark in the coming year.

We have tentatively set our departure date for the Fall of 2023! Continue to be in prayer for the Solomon Islands as there is still political tension in the Pacific regarding China’s involvement. We praise the Lord that the other missionary family made it safely back to the Solomons, and are continuing their work to bring the gospel to Guadalcanal. Pray for Melodie as she has started her final semester of LPN school. We are grateful to God for the many ways that He has met our needs exceedingly abundantly more than we asked. There have been dozens of needs that God so graciously met that we brought before Him in prayer and He either provided more directly or He moved the hearts of others to help us in our travels. Pray for safety as we drive and fly these coming months to meetings. Finally, pray with us that the Lord will provide the last 30% of our support. It is almost surreal to think that we are this close to heading out to the Solomons. God has been so good to us. He has rescued us from our own sinfulness in pursuing the vanity of this world that our eyes may be set on the kingdom to come and His glory. Our days spent here on this terrestrial ball are numbered by His hand and we would all do well to consider the work that God has called each of us to perform.

Constrained by Love,

The Lee Family
