2022 March and April Update

We are very excited to announce that in the last month we jumped to 55% support. It was a very encouraging time regarding the influx of new supporters. It seemed like each week several churches would call us letting us know that they have voted to partner with us to get the gospel to the Solomon Islands. We presented the mission work in churches in PA, KY, MD, SC, NC, FL and TN. We still have a mostly full schedule the rest of this year and it slows down in November and December, but will pick back up in February. The next two months are also full, we will be in a different church every Sunday and several for midweek services. I am currently working to fill the upcoming November and December dates. It is exciting to have several meetings in 2023 on the schedule already.

Please pray for the current situation in the Solomon Islands regarding China trying to have a military presence on the Islands. There are currently a lot of unknowns regarding the future relationships between the Solomon Islands and its geographical neighbours. It seems pretty tense right now, but it is only with further resolve that we see the need for Gospel-work to be accomplished in the Pacific.

The last two years we have put about 110k miles on our car travelling from meetings with little issue. Last week the AC finally gave up the ghost, I attempted to fix it myself with no success. We haven’t taken it in yet, but please pray that it would be an easy fix and not something drastic.

Our family is in good health and we are continuing diligently to finish deputation and Melodie’s medical schooling in a timely matter. Thank you for your prayers and support as we travel and work to finish deputation.
