Dear Friends,
We have had several churches take us on last month which bumps us over 80% and most of the gaps in the coming year have been filled. We have about 4 open Sundays that we are still working to fill with missions conferences. We are confident that we will meet the deadline of leaving for the Solomons by the end of this year. We applied for new passports and are waiting to get them back for me, Melodie and Douglas. We are working to gather our outfit and passage fund which is $15,000, we currently have $6,000 that are set aside to be able to pay for tickets, housing, luggage, and costs in the immediate of getting to Guadalcanal and then transport to Malaita.
Melodie passed her NCLEX at the beginning of February, so she is officially a licensed Nurse! She has put so much work into that pursuit and I couldn’t be more proud.
The next deputation goal that is currently in the works is obtaining my pilots license. I was hesitant to go forward in this, however, it appears that God has arranged it so. The application of where this will fit in our ministry is not clear. It came to my mind around December with not much seriousness, however, in my heart I told the Lord if He made it possible and His leading was clear then I would pursue it. One thing led to another and 12 minutes down the road from where we moved to in PA, there is a fellow believer, who is an instructor, who offered to work with my schedule to make it happen. I started lessons several weeks ago.
The biggest news of this letter is that Melodie is expecting! We found out last week that the little baby is going to be another boy! We plan on calling him George Philip. We praise the Lord for answering our prayers and blessing us in this manner. George should arrive around the middle of July. Douglas hasn’t quite grasped the concept that there is another baby on the way, but we are excited for him to have a brother and partner in crime.

Pray that we would continue to raise support before our departure in November of 2023
Pray that I would be able to complete aviation school before we depart for the Solomons.
Pray for safety for Melodie and baby George.
