The months of July and August were filled with ministry and traveling. We had many opportunities to present the need for the gospel in the Solomons. Melodie is hard at work doing schooling for her LPN on the road. Doug has continued to grow and is wearing 18 month clothes even though he is only 7 months old. Durning July, I preached at Camp Northfield and encourage the campers to yield their lives to the Lord and follow Him. We also were in charge of the children’s program in the family conference at our sending church.  At the beginning of August, we were able to partner with our mission agency in a ministry called See the Harvest, which  allows others to See, Learn and Do ministry in needful areas around the world. This particular trip was close to home for us in the Boston area.  We then continued on the deputation trail. In Illinois, we were part of a missions Sunday after which the church voted to take us on for support. Then we headed for South Carolina for a missions emphasis Sunday in Pickens, SC and then a missions conference in Greenville, SC.

We praise the Lord for two churches that voted to partner with us in reaching the Solomons with the gospel. With all of the many miles that we have traveled, we continue to praise the Lord for safety. Douglas continues to be a traveling champion, so basically he sleeps most of the time in the car. Continue to pray for safety as we are on the road.

There are several churches that will be voting this fall and coming January to partner with us to reach the Solomons with the gospel. We continue to trust in the Lord and know that He will bring in the support we need to get to the Solomon Islands. Pray that the Lord will prepare the hearts of those in the Solomons to hear the gospel. Thank you to all of those who support us and pray for us.

Constrained by Love,

Colton, Melodie and Douglas Lee
